Message of solidarity to Ukraine

Dear friends,

It is with absolute dismay, shock, and sadness that we are witnessing Russia’s war on Ukraine. We think of you in these dark times, and hope that you and your loved ones are safe.

We know of your important role as champions of workers and human rights in Ukraine, for which you have worked tirelessly for years. Our longstanding cooperation through ITUC-PERC is just one example of this. We are extremely concerned about how this situation will unfold, and of the impacts it will have on trade unionists, civil society and on the people of Ukraine. 

On behalf of our organisations we offer you our heartfelt solidarity and ask that you do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is any way that we can support you.
